In April, we embarked on an exciting project planting 80 pepper plants under our agrivoltaics system and another 80 under a control bed. After three weeks, we're already witnessing differences in how the plants are responding to the two environments. This study marks the largest of its kind in the Phoenix Metropolitan area, focusing on peppers' reaction to agrivoltaics. Early observations are promising, with the plants under the panels showing significantly higher pepper yields compared to those in the control bed. As summer progresses, we eagerly anticipate sharing the final results with everyone. Stay tuned for updates!
