On April 12th, 2024, we celebrated the inauguration of our 4.8 KW agrivoltaics installation at Spaces of Opportunity, sponsored by Agrisolar Clearinghouse as part of their national tour. The event brought together our community to discuss the importance of sustainable farming technologies. Professor Greg Barron Gafford emphasized the value of accessible projects like ours, providing firsthand experiences of agrivoltaics. We were honored by the presence of USDA State Director Ginger Sykes Torres, who highlighted the significance of sustainable agriculture in Arizona. Thank you to Spaces of Opportunity, Roosevelt School District, Tiger Mountain Foundation, FOREnergy, Titan, Fundusol, University of Arizona, Arizona State University, and the Sonoran Photovoltaic Laboratory, for their invaluable contributions over the past year. And to everyone who joined us for this event, your presence made it truly special!
